Wickham Market Parish Council Website
Wickham Market is a friendly, thriving community of around 1700 people. We have our own local school, library, GP surgery, dentist, library, shops (including a World renown quilting shop) and village hall. We are uniquely placed in a semi rural setting yet only half an hour from Ipswich, 90 minutes by train from London and well served by public transport.
Please use this site to gain information on what is being discussed by the Parish Council, local news, events, local businesses, clubs and societies in Wickham Market. Wickham Market Primary School is looking for people who could spend a couple of hours a week to listen to some of the school children read. Training will be given and you will need to go through a CRB check (the school arranges and pays for this). The children are great and enjoy the valuable experience. If you are interested, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
